About Our League

BRWSL is made up from a variety of skill levels, ranging from soccer scholarship recipients to those who have never set foot on a soccer field before. Regardless of your abilities, we have a spot for you!

 Our Season

Our 2009 season will start with a practice on April 19. The first game will be on Sunday, April 26 and the league ends on September 27. We do not play on holiday weekends.

 Teams

We will have 6 teams in 2009. Each team is made up of 19 players, including 2 captains who are your main contacts for league and team information.

Teams will be chosen in a blind draft and we do not take requests for team placement.

 Games

We will be playing on our new fields in Emeryville every Sunday at 9:30.

All games are officiated by licensed referees. Games consist of 2 - 45 minute halves. We play FIFA rules with the exception of substitutions (allowed on goals, goal-kicks and own throw-ins). Games are played rain or shine!

Registration packages are not mailed out. It is your responsibility to register in time. Get your registration form here.

The Belle River Women's Soccer League (BRWSL) was formed in 1999 with the help of some very dedicated volunteers. BRWSL's board is currently made up of the following volunteers:
